Welcome to my portfolio! The quote above, from the movie Amistad, is representative of my love for history and my passion for learning. I am an educator/trainer first and foremost because I believe that everyone can learn from the past, and that by examining our pasts, we can all make the future better.

This portfolio was completed as part of the requirements for obtaining a Master of the Arts in Information and Learning Technologies from the University of Colorado at Denver. I spent two years in the program focusing on quality instructional design for both adult learning and K-12 education. There are four places to visit within this site. The reflection letter is my personal reflection about my experiences in the program and the value I received from it. The resumé section contains information about my qualifications and experience as an instructional designer. You can find links to my major projects in the project matrix section. This section also explains how the different projects met the ILT Competencies required for graduation from the program. Finally, the compentencies section contains a list of all the ILT Compentencies required for graduation from the program.
