The holocaust was one of the cruelest, darkest events ever to occur on our planet. An entire race of people was blamed for all of the problems of the world and targeted for extermination.

It is important for everyone to remember this terrible period in human history so that these events are never allowed to happen again. Your job is to capture some of this history and help keep this part of history alive.

You will be setting up your own small, personal museum to the holocaust. Your exhibits will include a timeline of major events, a map chronicaling important places from the holocaust and most significantly, you will share the stories of people who suffered the tragedies and hardships of this terrible event and survived to tell about it. Your work will help preserve the memory of and the lessons learned from this event.

Your project begins with research about important events during the holocaust. Please follow the link at the top of the page to the "Timeline Activity."
